Scope and Content of Collection
The Jean Holloway Papers (1932-1948) contains typed manuscripts and handwritten creative works by screenwriter and San Jose State College alumna Jean Holloway. The bulk of the collection consists of screenplays, poetry, radio scripts and some coursework from her time in college.

2.0 folders (This series comprises the bulk of the Jean Holloway Papers collection and contains complete and partial scripts for radio and television programs such as “Coming Through the Rye” and “The Last of the Men About Town.” Included are a presentation script and three additional proposed scripts for a radio series titled “The Townspeople.” This program was created as a public relations vehicle for the Association of Reserve City Bankers, utilizing a drama series to increase public opinion regarding free banking.)
