From the Collection:

The Jean Holloway Papers (1932-1948) contains typed manuscripts and handwritten creative works by screenwriter and San Jose State College alumna Jean Holloway. The bulk of the collection consists of screenplays, poetry, radio scripts and some coursework from her time in college.

3.0 folders (This series consists of Jean Holloway’s personal notebooks, correspondence, accolades, and high school publications. A bound notebook dated August 8, 1932 contains Holloway’s handwritten poetry and short stories with illustrations, as well as newspaper clippings of her published work. In her notebook titled “Home Problems,” Holloway wrote domestic advice. Her high school publications are represented with a copy of San Jose High School 1935 newspaper, the School Herald, where Holloway served as Features Editor.)
