Series Scope and Content Summary

The contents of this series relate to press and public relations capturing Diridon's experience working in the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. The contents reveal Diridon’s interest in international transportation and environmental issues. An advocate of international environmental protection, Diridon’s speech files demonstrate his role in encouraging mass transportation and environmental protection in over 45 US cities and a dozen foreign countries. The various materials also document Diridon’s participation in numerous community programs endorsing historic preservation, and youth programs.
