Halftone Photo of Ted Sahl
Scope and Contents
This subseries consists primarily of Sahl's personal material such as private writings, journal pieces and poetry, art and sketches, and catalogued inventory of his photographs complete with names and dates. The subseries also contains Sahl's research for "From Closet to Community," and personal research of San Jose social justice history as well as other local history of activism and community events. Correspondences and invitations to local dinner banquets and award ceremonies are also enclosed. In box 44, there are also awards given to Ted Sahl by the Silicon Valley LGBT Community and the House of Representatives. There is also an album in box 44 consisting of photographs of Sahl's art work with dates ranging from 1969-1974.
