The Opera San Jose series includes business administrative records, San Jose initiatives and council reports, press conference proceedings, research materials, artist/subject files, records on outreach events, and performance materials that reflect the business operations and productions of Opera San Jose as well as Dalis' involvement with the development of the entity. Also included are documents on the California Theatre (or previously known as the Fox Theatre) that include research reports, contracts, and design concepts that detail the establishment of permanent facility for Opera San Jose. The series also includes documents from Dalis' involvement in teaching at San Jose State University.
