The New Student, 1965-1966
Scope and Contents
The New Student was a radical newspaper printed weekly by individual students. The articles focused on the counterculture of the mid to late 1960s, and included articles on divisive political issues such as the Vietnam War and controversial university policies of the 1960s. The newspaper also featured interviews with such notable individuals as Beat poet Alan Ginsberg. Note: Publication documentation for The New Student can be found in Box 5.
