Scope and Contents
The Reed Magazine was created with the aim of publishing winning student compositions from the Phelan Competition, as well as from the English Department's creative writing courses. It is currently the third incarnation of an SJSU literary magazine, the first being The Quill, then El Portal. Reed Magazine is still published today and maintains a website at http://www.reedmag.org/drupal/.
