Scope and Contents
This series contains 19 folders and concerns the expansion of public transportation in the Bay Area of California, specifically Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) and the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) route that was pushed by Congressional Representatives including Honda to extend to San Jose, as well as an extension to S.F.O. The series consists of Fact Sheets, funding propositions, VTA policy drafts, the Subcommittee on Transportation papers, news articles, background material, and correspondence.
