Scope and Contents
This series consists of 28 folders and concerns the congressional investigation into the death of football player and Army Corporal Patrick "Pat" Daniel Tillman, who was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. The investigation was initiated after the Army failed to properly disclose the true nature of Tillman’s death, leading to reports of a Pentagon cover-up. The materials in the series consist of CD's, news articles, a book, House Committee and congressional papers, Mike Honda's personal notes, and correspondence.
