San Jose State Normal School Photographs, 1916 - 1917
Scope and Contents
The bulk of this photo collection appears to have been taken during Fern Kilburn's senior year at San Jose State Normal School in 1917, many of the photographs depict events/socials involving the junior and senior class of the Kindergarten Training School. One of the photographs is of the Browning Literary Society, with the name of each member written on the back of the photo. Other photographs include San Jose State Normal School buildings, the 1917 Normal School senior commencement, students and faculty, including those from the Kindergarten Training School, members of the Browning Literary Society, and various people and homes in San Jose.
