Scope and Contents
Papers related to local, state and regional transportation in the United States. The bulk of the materials consists of published government reports, brochures and articles. There are reports from the State of New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York/New Jersey Port Authority, and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. Many of the papers in this series address major transportation infrastructure projects on the East Coast, especially in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C. These include the Boston Central Artery/Tunnel, the Northeast Corridor Rail Line, New York Grand Central Station Terminal, New York Moynihan Station, and New York Penn Station.
