Scope and Contents

Series I consists of Richard L. Tieszen's academic career with bulk dates between 1975-1986. Materials relate to Tieszen's schoolwork while he earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University in 1986, his M.A. in Philosophy from the New School for Social Research in 1978, and his B.A. in Philosophy from Colorado State University in 1975.

The materials in this series consist of handwritten notes, printed articles, graded assignments, papers, essays, drafts, and other notes/thoughts on subjects such as logic, linguistics, philosophy, mathematics, and physics that Tieszen produced during his academic career.
