Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series includes numerous artifacts, memorabilia, and textiles that commemorate or are relevant to Dr. Harry Edwards’ career as scholar-activist. Contained in Subseries 1. Artifacts and Memorabilia are awards, a paperweight, a SJSC discus, a Super Bowl ticket, and a signed trading card. In Subseries 2. Textiles include Dr. Edwards' SJSC letterman jacket that was awarded to him for the academic year 1962-1963, a “Jim Brown (from the movie The Dirty Dozen), 1967)” army jacket, a Negro League Baseball Museum jersey, political t-shirts, commemorative blankets, and an armband.
