Series IV. Photographs, Negatives, and Film, 1900-1990
Scope and Contents
The photographs and negatives in this series primarily feature Hermanns with his friends, family, and acquaintances. There are additional film negatives of letters and documents containing images of the correspondence between Hermanns and many notable persons he interacted with throughout his life. During a visit to Verdun, Hermanns had also collected photographs, postcards, guide maps, and some pressed flowers kept in the original order.
