KSJS 90.7 Binder Promotions, 1990
Scope and Contents
The Speech, Drama, and Journalism Departments created the KSJS-FM radio station in 1963 to broadcast student and faculty-led programming, including music and talk shows discussing campus events. Initially, the materials in this series were a single binder created by the Theatre Arts Department in 1990 that was submitted to the National Association of College Broadcasters' "NACB Best College Radio Station" contest. Following this submission, KSJS-FM won the "Station of the Year" in February 1991. Included in the binder are correspondence, photocopies of newspaper clippings, and other documents detailing the programming, promotions, community service activities, and station operations of the KSJS-FM radio station.
