Scope and Contents From the Series:

The bulk of this series consists of American prints, primarily from the 1920s to the 1970s. This includes the work of several SJSU Art faculty: John Mottram (1903-1956), Robert Freimark (1922-2007), Robert Fairall (1925-1991), Frederick Spratt (1927-2008), and John Hunter (b. 1934-). Other highlights are prints by Chilean artist Roberto Matta (1911-2002) and American artist Wayne Thiebaud (1920-).

There is a selection of Old Master prints, including works by Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), Hans Leonhard Schäufelein (1480-1540), Hermans zoon van Rijn Rembrandt (1606-1669), Salvador Rosa (1615-1673) and Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778).
