This collection contains the scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and various correspondence of the members of the San Jose State College Allenian Society sorority from 1908-2008. Most of the material dates from 1939-2007 and focuses on the Allenian Society’s local activities prior to their merger into the national Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority group in 1949.

This collection is comprised of a few personal items belonging to Sarah Locke and various members of her family. The materials document Locke's time at California State Normal School and include items such as books, journals and a diary. Also included in the collection are materials related to Locke's granddaughter, Shirley, who was a graduate of San Jose State College in 1948.

The San Jose State College Survival Faire Collection consists of mixed materials related to the Survival Faire event that took place at San Jose State College from February 16-20, 1970. Materials include informational documents about the event, contest information, promotional posters, news releases, photographs, a newspaper, empty Survival Faire-branded envelopes, and ephemera. The materials in this collection range between 1969-1970.

The papers of David Lyndon Woods, a San Jose State College alumnus, consist of documents and memorabilia from his student days, as well as some of his professional publications. Subject matter includes signaling on land and sea, library technology circa 1990, and student life on San Jose State College campus.
